Welcome everyone to the Southern Kung Fu Community Forums. The goal of this forum is to create a friendly online environment where Kung Fu practitioners, teachers, students, etc. from all over can come together to discuss and exchange information on all aspects of Chinese Martial Arts. These forums are open to all martial artists and Southern Kung Fu Net welcomes everyone who is interested in Chinese Martial Arts.
However, in order to maintain a civil and respectable online community in order that we all get the most out of the experience, we insist that our users follow a few guidelines:
Please try to be polite and be respectful of others. We respect each other regardless of ones gender, race, religion, martial arts style or lineage. We ask that you neither insult nor antagonize fellow members. Please refrain from swearing or otherwise offending people. This is a public forum meant to be accessible to all ages. Therefore, please keep it clean. We want all martial arts practitioners to feel welcome here. Friendly kidding around is ok, but please be considerate of the others. If you are unable to abide by this, then our forum is not for you.
NO flaming or profanity allowed. Flaming will not be tolerated. Criticize ideas, not people. This includes any material, which is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually oriented, or violates any laws. If you question whether or not something is inappropriate, it probably IS. However, if you would like an opinion please feel free to contact one of the admins for moderators PRIOR to posting.
Keep it civil. No Personal Attacks The discussion may get heated, but that's no reason not to remain civil. It's also important to realize that many of our members and visitors come from different backgrounds with various skill levels and experience, so please keep any sarcastic remarks and personal attacks off this Board.
Please post your question or comment in the correct forum and please do not cross post the same message in multiple forums. If you like to start a new discussion, ask question or make a comment, please do so in the correct forum. The discussion forum is laid out in a very organized manner in order for you to make best use of it and find what you are looking for quickly and easily. Off topic posts will be moved to the correct forums and it may be difficult for you to find it later if you did not post it in the correct forum.
No trolling. Don't make posts that are inflammatory just to annoy people.
Respect the privacy of others. Do not post other's phone numbers, addresses, pictures, etc., without their permission.
NO Spamming. No commercial posts or flooding the forum with useless content.
If you have a martial arts related announcement to make, please do so in the Announcements section of the forum.
Censorship and Moderation This is a touchy subject but there's no doubt that a certain amount of discretion is required to make these forums enjoyable and productive for the maximum audience. Of course, there are also legal issues involved. We will edit or delete any message, which falls into any of the following categories: Offensive, Insulting or Slanderous Messages
Bulk Messages
Fraudulent Messages
Accusations of Illegal or Improper Conduct

Moderators are assigned for every forum, and there are Administrators who oversee the smooth operation of this site. If you have any problems on the site, please contact the listed moderator or the administrator.
Thank you for your participation and for taking the time to read the guidelines.
